MONTE VERITÀ - THE HILL OF DANCE

Introduction to Choreology, contemporary principle and practice of Rudolf Laban’s work, who in Monte Verità conducted his first experiments of the art of movement.

DANCING THE ICOSAHEDRON

Space Harmony (Choreutics)

Theoretical-practical Workshop to experience the choreographic, spiritual and dance technique content of Choreutic. Principles of orientation and harmonic organisation of Space embodying Dimensions, Planes , Diagonals of the crystalline forms of the Octahedron, Cube and Icosahedron.

THE DYNAMIC BODY

In the theory of Effort, it is documented and made visible the internal attitude of human movement. Through the four motion factors Flow, Time, Weight, Space and their combinations, we make visible the inner attitude embodied in the way we move, the intention in the movement integrates body, mind, emotions and spirituality.

THE DANCING BODY

“The dancing body” lives in the experience of the Flow of movement and the dynamic change that wakes up the body and lives in the architecture of the body. The dancing body is an experience of “dance for all”, that celebrates the joy of being together.

HAIKU IN MOTION

This workshop touches the skill of composition through choreographic proposals with inspiration from the Haiku, this dance composition requires a synthesis of thought, perception, image and movement.

a deeply rooted mystery and not a mere outward function or trick”
